Priyanka Chopra is a well-known Indian actress, singer, film producer, and philanthropist. She was born on July 18, 1982, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. Her father, Ashok Chopra, was a physician in the Indian Army, and her mother, Madhu Chopra, was a gynecologist. She has a younger brother named Siddharth.
Priyanka completed her schooling from various schools due to her father's frequent transfers in the Army. She then went on to study at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but left it midway to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Priyanka made her acting debut in the Tamil film "Thamizhan" in 2002 and later made her Bollywood debut in the film "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy" in 2003. However, she gained recognition for her performance in the film "Aitraaz" (2004), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role.
